I love Mont Saint Michel so much - a favourite place of mine, when I was a kid I loved going up to the monastery to look out over the island, always been a dream to live there even though it’s so hard to find houses or hotels for sale, one day…
I loved Mont Saint Michel as well. I remember we ate there and it was delicious. We had a simple picnic from items we purchased from a French grocery store that we were in for five minutes. Then, we ascended to get to the monastery and I got lost. I was wandering around with a girl and we strayed away from the group. We were kinda worried but we were also completely awed by the monastery which kept us quite calm. When we finally found people from our group we toured the rest of the monastery with a group of Asian tourists and I blended in with them well. I wish we could have stayed longer.
The other day I learned that if you say 'beer can' with an English accent, you're saying 'bacon' with a Jamaican accent. Mind blown. MLIA
